I wholeheartedly believe in the power of massage therapy to ease many of the physical and emotional challenges we face in life. Helping others experience restorative healing and balance through touch is my purpose. My approach blends compassion, experience, and continual learning. I'm always expanding my knowledge to better serve those who trust me with their care.
My massage journey began in 1997 at the Baltimore School of Massage in Maryland, where I completed a 200-hour certification program. After relocating to Mooresville, I graduated from the Southeastern School of Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy of Charlotte in 2000 with 500 hours of advanced training.
My approach to bodywork is not only shaped by training, but by lived experience. Having personally navigated surgeries, pain, and nervous system healing, I deeply understand the vulnerability that can come with recovery. This allows me to relate to my clients with genuine empathy and provide care that is both intuitive and profoundly supportive.
I hold certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies and have continued to deepen my expertise through courses with Dr. Perry Nickelston (Stop Chasing Pain) - including Lymphatic Mojo, Glymphatic Mojo, Nerve Mojo, Breathing Mojo and Gut Mojo.
Additional training includes:
* Kinesiology Taping, Cupping, and IASTM (Rock Tape)
* Oncology Massage certification
* Somatic Therapy certifications
Outside of my practice, I find simple balance in spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my Berner, Eva.
