About Me/Certifications

I wholeheartedly believe that the power of massage therapy can relieve us of many ailments we come across in our lives. I love helping others begin restorative effects through massage therapy so they may enjoy their lives to the fullest. I am constantly learning and expanding my horizons in my field to better serve my clients.

I took the first steps toward my career in massage in 1997 at the Baltimore School of Massage in Maryland and completed a 200-hour certified basic program. After relocating to Mooresville, soon after I enrolled at the Southeastern School of Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy of Charlotte, graduating from the 500-hour program in 2000.

I have received certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique) from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.

I have received a certificate of completion after attending Dr. Perry Nickelston's (Stop Chasing Pain) Lymphatic Mojo, Glymphatic Mojo, Nerve Mojo and Gut Mojo courses.

I have a completed over 80 hours in sports therapy massage training.

I have a certificate in advanced reflexology.

I am certified in kinesiology tapping, cupping and IASTM from Rock Tape.

I have certificates in oncology massage.

I am working towards certification as a meditation & breath coach.

After many years of implementing neuromuscular and deep tissue massage I have changed my path to exclusively do manual lymphatic therapy. I believe that the lymphatic system is often overlooked in today's medical community and by treating it we can overcome many ailments.

Outside of helping others through massage therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, and snuggling with my Bernese Mountain dog.
